We met Courtney, Brian & Makenna on the Eastern side in Akron and spent a very fun but tiring less than 24 hours with them. Courtney & I hadn't seen each other's kids since either was born, and it was high time. So Lilly and Makenna, future penpals and hopefully friends themselves had their first meeting, and Court and I got to see each other which I've always said and will always say is good for my soul. Because of my background, I'm not a person who's had a particular friend around since 2nd grade or anything, and for the first time I feel like a have a friend that I truly believe I'll still have when I'm 30 (crap-that's not far away), 40, 50, 60 yadda yadda. Court and I handed over the girls to their dads to have a little us time and even though they tried, those dads just get a little freaked out going solo, I think. So here are some pictures. And a couple pics of Lilly in her bumbo at the shop. She isn't amused just sitting on my lap while I work anymore, so bumbo it is!

Cow, Feet, Lamb and the new family truckster
Well here's just a little update from Lilly land...
She has officially found her feet. AND SHE LOVES THEM.
Coolest thing goin in her world! She has also discovered how lovely it is to snuggle up with (and chew on) her cow and her lamb. Also included are some pics of the new family truckster (with Lilly inside for perspective). It's huge. That's why it's called the mega cab.

WHAT??
"Mama, you haven't posted anything in a MONTH?! Geez! I'm huge now! I smile, I hold up my own head, I blow bubbles, I coo up a storm, I found my hands...PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF! I'm 3 months now!" -Lilly Grace
Well, we've been awful busy. I returned to work part time, and let me tell you, I don't know how full time moms do it. I'm an emotional wreck without Lilly. Serious separation anxiety. But enough about mommy....here are some pics!!
Yes, that frog has a fly attached to it's tongue. You pull the fly
and the tongue sticks out and vibrates. This is nature, people!
C-ya!
