Normally when you hear these words spoken to you by a medical professional, you are thrown into a panic attack. HOWEVER. When the medical professional is your OBGYN looking at you in your 36th week of pregnancy (ugh) and saying this in reference to the March 13th c-section date, it's different.
She said, "Mindy, I have no medical basis for this. Call it doctor's intuition, but I think you'll go into labor on your own, breech or not, and I think it will be before the 13th.
To that I say GAME ON!!!
I am definately ready physically and emotionally to have her out and in front of me. And for Chris to be able to hold her. That's a big thing that I can't wait to see- Chris holding his daughter.
So, will she be right? Will I go before the 13th? Who knows! But you can bet that I'm packing my bag! (Her's is already packed) I additionally think it would be nice if she picked her own birthday.

Some Updates
As you can imagine, we have a lot going on up here, and while I'm not good at updating often, I still try to do it, and here we go!
Chris has been SUPER busy working on the house. The Nursery is done, the family room is 50% painted, and all the spackle and sanding is finished (THANK GOODNESS). Chris has never been so relieved. All this just in time for the baby shower this weekend. While the women "oohed and ahhed" over baby stuff, the men ripped buy the windows on their snowmobiles. Now if that isn't ambiance, I don't know what is!
The past 2 weeks have also brought doctor visits, during which we learned that our little one is growing rapidly (good) and she is breech (figures). So, as of right now we are scheduled for a c-section on March 13th at 11:30am. IF she turns before that then all bets are off and I have to learn lamaze breathing right quick. :) If I go into labor before the 13th and she's still breech, they just do the c-section then. Well, if you know Chris and I, you aren't surprised that she's stubborn.
Hydro is great, although a little perplexed about the nursery and why we're in there so much. He's been very good so far and hasn't stolen any stuffed animals. (I'm not sure that will always be true- he LOVES stuffed animals). Chris is feeding the deer in the woods (Amy cover your eyes) to fatten them up for hunting season. All in all we're great. I'm big and uncomfortable (to be expected) Chris is chomping at the bit to see the surgery and for the weather to change and Hydro...sleeps alot. All is well. Here are some pics for your enjoyment!!
Crib assembled!
Quilt that mom made.
That's it for now...more later on when I'm done assembling pics from the shower!
