Progress!

There have been a lot of great things happening since the house arrived, and while most of them aren't the MOST fun to photograph, they are essential to our house. Things like plumbing. Forced hot air. A front porch. An electric line, and (my personal favorite) the arrival of our new washer and dryer!! But since it's been forever since I've updated, I'm putting them up anyway...and maybe a picture of a doberman...:)



Our forced hot air duct work laid out, the electric panel and something Chris rented called a Hydro Lift to safely enable him to finish the siding on the ends of the house. I'm not sure it should be called that, because I tried to put Hydro on it and he wanted NO PART of being lifted....

Chris is certainly the foreman on this huge project, but on days that Hydro gets to visit the site, he likes to believe he's in charge. Chris has done so much on this house- orchestrating and working (7am to 10pm everyday)...please pray for him that he'll have energy and be safe. And many thanks to everyone helping us- especially the faithful ones who have worked through the cold and the rain! I wish I could be more helpful, but I got yelled at for installing lightbulbs. I tried!!
